Body Mind Conversations is a form of body-centred mindful therapy with roots in Hakomi Psychotherapy and Somatic Practices.
I support individuals and couples who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or held back, as well as those who have done a lot of cognitive therapy and are ready for a more somatic Hakomi Therapy approach.
I specialise in supporting people with self-esteem issues, anxiety, trauma, sex-related challenges, grief, depression, reactivity, body image concerns, chronic pain, and relationship and attachment issues.
Where relevant, I draw on my Somatic Sexology expertise to help clients to understand their desire, shutdown, boundaries, relational dynamics, as well as the ways in which early experiences shape our intimacy and access to pleasure.
I also have several years’ experience working within the NDIS space supporting neurodivergent individuals who are living with autism, ADHD, Smith–Magenis Syndrome, and other developmental differences or disabilities, in both therapeutic and support capacities.
Somatic sessions create the conditions for genuine embodied change, rather than just symptom management or cognitive understanding.
I welcome both new and experienced therapy clients who are seeking grounded, body-centred work that invites depth, honesty, and real change. Hakomi is a profound experience!

Your body holds the answers
Intellectual understanding of your problems is not always enough.
Our bodies hold onto parts of our stories that our minds cannot always access.
In fact, many behaviours which you might see as set-in-stone personality traits, or “just how you are”, are quite possibly adaptive nervous system strategies that served you well in the past,
but perhaps not anymore.
The good news is… they are not stuck in stone and our bodies have an innate healing wisdom.
As we slow down and pay attention to our bodies and feelings, we open ourselves up to insights about the unconscious drivers that may be at the core of our biggest challenges, deepst beliefs, hardest feelings, and auto-pilot reactions.
Blending talk therapy with a mindful, somatic Hakomi approach I’m here to help you create space for fresh possibilities. It is my role and great privilege to support you in this exploration, fostering new ways of being, and allowing you to gain clarity and find greater ease in life.
